Warm, snug, comfortable, easy-care base-layer
I am very impressed with these Icebreaker baselayers and now have a selection of bodyfit 200, 260 and the lighterweight Icebreaker Red Ram range.

So far I've worn mine for walking, camping, canoeing and sleeping in. In mid-winter trips when I've been wildcamping with no facilities at all, I've popped it on before leaving and not taken it off for several days until returning home again. This is a good test of comfort and performance - and it's excelled on both. This Oasis crew is warm, cosy, the merino wool doesn't itch at all, doesn't pill beneath rucksack straps, dries fast when it gets wet (from sweat or a shower) and is still warm even when wet. Icebreaker say it won't develop any odours and - they're right. 5 days of wearing mine, including for sleeping in, and there was no smell at all.

Until buying this, I'd worn a variety of other brand merino wool and polypropylene mix (never again..!), polyester, viscose, viscose/cotton blends, acrylic, microfleece...
