I haven't ridden a bike for over 30 years, but i thought it was time to bite the bullet, get fit, and buy one. Now i have the bike my next concern was to keep me safe, and also to warn other people that there was an unsteady 40-something man weaving across the road. That's when i bought this jacket. It has been described by my work colleagues as "the brightest thing they have ever seen". It is certainly luminous on its own, day or night, and the reflective flashes add to the visibility. Importantly for me, it is also warm and waterproof. The ownly downside for me personally is that i'm probably between sizes - although the body fits me well, if you've got broad shoulders like me you may want to go up a size as it's a tad tight. That said, it's all about the size of the individual and it's a very effective coat which does exactly what i want it to do.

I initially started to look at some pricier brands, however this little gem was ideal.

Good fit although a little bit bigger than I like, I'm 22" across the shoulders and thats a good fit, outside arm 26" neck 15" fits well, chest 44" just about right. The only excess is around the waist I'm a 34" but it's not too baggy.

Hi vis is spot on with good placement of the reflective patches. It's put up with at least two weeks of riding to work and has had to protect me from wind,rain and snow. It has performed really well, very impressed overall
