Super looks and comfort
I bought these for hiking. They are brilliant. Super comfy, fit well with stretch for comfort and looks.
Washed by hand in a sink and dried over night on a hanger whilst camping. Water resistant in the rain.
Sizes are American. I bought an 8 which is about a UK 14. A little on the large side if anything as the stretch gives extra room.
Will be purchasing another pair definately

Marmot Scree Pants
I bought these to replace an old pair of Marmot trousers which I had sadly ripped. Being American sizings, I was apprehensive about making the right choice, particularly as my last pair were simply labelled "M". So after looking at the Marmot website (which mainly goes by weight), I figured out I was probably a US Size 10. (I am an average UK 12-14, and 5ft 4).

When the trousers arrived, they fitted perfectly. There's an elasticated section at the back of the waist - which is high, so they fit well without feeling too tight. The bottom area feels and looks neat, but as the fabric has a lot of stretch they don't feel too tight or restrictive. The Scree pants can be bought in different leg lengths. I went for the medium because the legs are tapered, and when worn with walking boots they don't trail. Also the more length, the more give around the knees when climbing. The bottom of the leg has a handy zip for getting boots on and off, or wearing loosely.
