Waterproof and tolerant
I've just ordered my second pair of ladies' Cascada trousers and only because old pair are now too big. I initially bought them for a Spring walking holiday in the far NW of Scotland, and they kept my legs lovely and snug but never sweaty. They were also great during a late summer walking holiday in Switzerland at various altitudes with very variable weather. The trousers are not intended for walking in hot conditions, of course, but they are very breathable and surprisingly tolerant. the snuggly padded fabric may look a bit OTT at times but the ventilation system works very well - all the zips and poppers can be almost infinitely adjusted so even if gets warmer than expected you can get the right temperature. I wear them very regularly during the winter for walking the dog in the foul weather of NW England as well as for walking in the Peak District and have only praise for them. They are also much quieter than other trousers I've looked at - but that is just one of the plus points...

I love these trousers
These are the best walking trousers I have ever had. They are really comfy, light and great for wet conditions. I get cold really easily but not with these trousers, I even used them when cross country skiing and they were great for that too.
