This is expensive but you get what you pay for - and in the case of this coat, it's the best and worth every penny.

It's very lightweight, very well made, has fleece-lined pockets, a drawstring hood and is just so ... warm! I wore mine in the Brecon Beacons at below -6 degrees with just ordinary clothing beneath and was completely snug and cosy while those around me in their thermals, layers of fleece and Gore-Tex were shivering.

The coat is best described as a sleeping bag with sleeves and it's so warm, cosy and comfortable that you probably won't want to take it off!

Due to the price, I hesitated for over 2 years before splashing out - but I'm glad I did and I think anyone who buys it will have no regrets either. I've had mine for over 5 years and it's still as warm and snug as the day I bought it.

I just love this coat
I've wanted a coat that I could wear smart or with Jeans I looked at this coat for a while but after going into a ship that sold North Face to try it on for sizing I found out was very thin so was disheartened as I didn't feel I was getting my monies worth. How wrong could of I been! after looking at reviews on the net I found that people were saying its a very warm and cosy coat. I went out and bought one and its the best North Face coat I've ever had, its stylish, light to wear but sooooooo warm. I've worn it on a Saturday morning watching my little boy play football and other parents are saying they are freezing, but i'm cosy and snug. This is a fantastic coat ok a little pricy but it will last season after session as it won't go out of fashion.Illy real downside is you can't really wear it in the ra in as the filling is feathers and if they get wet they clump up and won't give a balanced insulation. If you need a coat that Erroll keep you warm and stylish this is a must buy.
