Absolutely brilliant jacket
I really do not understand the one poor review. I have used this jacket in the foulest weather in Scotland and the Lakes when the rain was beating down for days on end. They kept me totally dry for the whole period. If you go walking in a group at least half the walkers and 75% of the leaders wear Paramo clothing. Reading the previous reviewers comments I did notice they referred to prevously taking their Paramo clothing on a sailing holiday. A good soaking in salt water will seriously deteriorate the outer water repellancy of the fabric. After a sailing holiday and before going on the Inca trail, I would have followed the manufacturers instructions and washed the clothes with Nikwax wash and reproofed with Nikwax TX Direct.
