Warm, very comfortable, easy-care base-layer
I have a good selection of Icebreaker base-layers including the 'Oasis 200', 'Oasis 260', 'Icebreaker Everyday' and 'Icebreaker Red Ram' and am very impressed with them all. The 'Red Ram' range can be hard to find but they seem to be identical (or almost identical) to the Icebreaker 'Everyday' range so I'm making a guess that possibly 'Everyday' is the new name for the 'Red Ram' range.

The Red Ram and Everyday range are made from 200-weight merino wool. The main difference between this and the Oasis range is that the wool is more textured due to a slightly looser knit, it feels more like wool to touch, has a less smooth finish (but is still soft and doesn't itch) and it's a straight cut rather than having shaped body and arm seams. Both perform equally well and my preference is actually for the cheaper/budget Red Ram/Everyday range.

It was a great price compared to some other makes. It's my second one and I lived in the first one for the whole of last winter and its still got loads of wear left. It kept its shape. Washes well and dries fast. Its really soft but best of all…..it has a scooped neck which is perfect for wearing under things without seeing it and more stylish if you do want to see it. I just wish they made it in other colours.
