So far these gloves seem to do the job but as yet the weather has not been cold enough for warmth test. I am a shooting coach and for work ie handling shotguns they are very user friendly. I find shooting in them very comfortable and sensitive for trigger pull etc.
They are a little snug on the fingers even with a large but I would not a larger size as the finger length may be to much then.

I bought a pair of these gloves on the basis of the first review.
They are excellent quality and a warm, waterproof glove, but they are not suitable for use with a shotgun in my opinion (50 years of shooting).
The finger seams prevent the finger reaching the end of the glove, giving no sensitivity of touch when doing anything "fiddly", or when operating the guns trigger, especially with double triggers.

I strongly recommend a try before you buy course of action.
