Great Winter Jacket !!
I bought this jacket to replace a similar 3-in-1 from one of the lesser brands and I'm delighted with my purchase.
It is a lot lighter and less bulky but feels considerably warmer. The neck guard is great and the hood very neat.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the fit is quite snug but for me this is no bad thing as it makes the jacket more windproof without spoiling the style by using the hem drawstrings.
The other drawback is the lack of a suitable interior pocket to keep a wallet or valuables safe. There are 2 inside pockets but they are loose and cannot be zipped or otherwise closed.
Good spring and autumn jacket
I bought the Berghaus RG 3in1 jacket to fill a gap in my jackets 'garderobe'. I had thick, warm jackets for the winter and light jackets for summer evenings, but I did not have one for when the summer fades away and the biting cold morning of October and November set in.
I was looking for a combination of waterproof, warm and, if possible, interactive jacket that would allow wearing it both as just a rain jacket over other clothes, as well as a coupled with a warm liner for cold days.
