Received on first day I was advised - well done again Amazon. The coat is a first class heavyweight - Almost looking forward to a cold spell now. Workmanship seems excellent and overall, exceeded my expectations. Am sure it will last me a lifetime. Outer in a serviceable dark brown smooth woollen material with a tartan lining which seems to be the same material. The horn toggles and leather attachments add a touch of class too.

1) It's not 'full length' as described - it comes to about 8" above my knee. (I am normally proportioned, 6'0", coat was 40" chest.)
2) The sleeves are far too short. I have a coat from Fenwick to which I compared it, which is also for a 40" chest, and the Fenwick coat's sleeves are about 1.5" longer than these.
